Hey Aseem, you conveyed a crucial point in this emotional debate very logically and beautifully. I will echo a point you made — men can’t ever personally experience being pregnant. Yet many of them sit on their high horse of morality and not only preach but actually dictate what women can and cannot do about their pregnancy. In my view, we can never achieve gender equality until men understand that they should not be casting judgment on a matter on which they will always have exactly zero personal experience. As your father, I am very proud that you have the courage to write publicly on a topic which is so divisive and knowing that you will be attacked publicly. But convictions and courage are what make people who they are. More power to you!
Why not give empathy to the babies in the womb? Because we don't see or hear them? IMO the main role is the baby's in a pregnancy, an innocent human-being, born from voluntary sexual acts of 2 adults(prob except rape)
